How to book an appointment

You can make appointments with either a Nurse or Doctor at the front desk or by telephoning 01772 683420.  You can now book appointments with the GP online, please ask at reception alternatively ring the above number from 08.00 onwards to book an appointment.

If you feel your problem is an urgent one, if you request a home visit or are unsure of your needs, we will ask our Nurse Practitioner to contact you, usually by phone, to decide the best course of action.

This may simply be advice; it may mean a consultation with her or a doctor, or even direct admission to hospital if appropriate.

Home Visits

Please make requests for non-urgent home visits for the house-bound before 10:00 am.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
